Jerusalem and Bethlehem Highlights (upon request)

Day 1 - Tel Aviv

Upon arrival at the Arava border, our representative will meet you on the way out through customs.

Drive to Jerusalem overnight.

Day 2 – Jerusalem

We will begin our tour with Mount of Olives for a spectacular panoramic overlook of the Old City. Walk down to the Kidron Valley and enter the Chapel of Dominos Flevit. Thereafter, we will visit the Garden of Gethsemane and visit the Church of All Nations, where we will view the Basilica of Agony.

In this area are the oldest olive trees in the Holy Land, which date back to ancient times. They are a living witness to Jesus’ arrest by the Romans.

We continue along the Kidron Valley, viewing the Tomb of Zechariah and the Tomb of Absalom – King David’s son... We will enter the Old City through one of its ancient gates, then proceed to the Wailing Wall – the remnant of Solomon’s Temple – and touch its ancient stones. We will ascend the Temple Mount and view the Dome of the Rock. We will continue through the Western Wall Tunnels and note the location of the Holy of Hollies.

After visiting the nearby Pool of Bethesda, we will continue to the Via Dolorosa and the Arab Market – the Shuk We will move on to the Jewish Quarter, where we will see the renovated Cardo (the once main north-south colonnaded Roman Street) and its excavations. Continue to the Tower of David Museum, where we can experience a journey through 3000 years of Jerusalem’s history

Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 3 – Jerusalem

Drive to Bethlehem to visit the Church of Nativity. Continue to Ein Karem the village of John the Baptist. Visit the Israel Museum and the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls can be seen. Visit Mount Zion, the Upper Room, and King David’s Tomb. Continue to New Jerusalem to visit the Holocaust Memorial – Yad Vashem... Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 4 - Return

Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
