DAY 1: Sunday – ARRIVAL

Upon arrival at the airport, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel in Tel Aviv for an overnight stay.

DAY 2: Monday – Tel Aviv – Beersheba – Masada – Dead Sea – Jerusalem

Depart from Tel Aviv via Ashdod, Ashkelon, and Beersheba. Enjoy a short visit to the capital of the Negev. Continue via Arad to Masada.

Ascend by cable car to the fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans.

Visit the excavations, Herod’s palaces, the synagogue, the bathhouse, and more. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea.

Descend for an optional float in the salty waters of the Dead Sea, the lowest place on Earth. Via Ein Gedi and Kalya, proceed to Jerusalem for an overnight stay.

DAY 3: Tuesday – Jerusalem: Sightseeing of the New City

Drive to Mount Scopus for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of the Agony.

Visit the Israel Museum’s Shrine of the Book, home to the famous Dead Sea Scrolls, followed by the beautifully renovated model of Herodian Jerusalem dating back to the time of the Second Temple.

Continue to Yad Vashem, the memorial to the six million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust.

In the afternoon, visit Ein Karem, the traditional birthplace of John the Baptist. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 4: Wednesday – Jerusalem (Old City) – Bethlehem*

Walk through one of the gates into the walled Old City. Visit the restored Jewish Quarter, the Western Wall, the Temple area, the colorful bazaars, and the Via Dolorosa, ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Drive to Mount Zion to visit the Tomb of King David, the Room of the Last Supper, and Dormition Abbey.

In the afternoon, continue to Bethlehem* to visit the Church of the Nativity, then return to Jerusalem for an overnight stay.

DAY 5: Thursday– Beit She’an – Tiberias – Galilee

Leave Jerusalem and drive north via Jericho*, the oldest city in the world.

Travel through the Jordan Valley and the new settlements to Beit She’an. Visit the excavations of this beautifully preserved Roman city.

Proceed to Tiberias, the ancient center of Jewish learning. Drive along the shores of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum to visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue.

Continue to a kibbutz hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 6: Friday – Upper Galilee and Golan Heights – Nazareth

Drive to the Golan Heights. Visit the former Syrian fortifications and Druze villages.

Continue via Banias, one of the sources of the Jordan River, and through the Hula Valley to Safed, the city of Kabbalah.

Visit a synagogue and the artists’ colony, then proceed to Nazareth to visit the Christian holy sites.

Return to the kibbutz hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 7: Saturday – Acre – Haifa – Caesarea – Eilat

After breakfast, drive west to Acre to visit the famous Crusader stronghold and medieval fortifications.

Continue to Haifa for a sightseeing tour, including the Bahá’í Shrine, the Persian Garden, and Mount Carmel for a panoramic view of the city and bay.

Proceed along the coast to Caesarea to visit the Roman Theater and the Crusader fortress.

Continue to Tel Aviv Airport for a short flight to Eilat, Israel’s Red Sea resort. Upon arrival, take a taxi to your hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 8: Sunday – Eilat – Petra – Eilat

After breakfast, depart from Eilat, cross the Arava border into Jordan, and drive to Petra through the scenic Jordanian desert and the Wadi Rum area.

Enter the Rose City of Petra through the Siq, a narrow gorge that has inspired travelers for centuries.

At the end of the passage, the Treasury suddenly appears, leaving visitors breathless with its size, color, and beauty.

Continue into the heart of this ancient city carved into the mountains, passing hundreds of tombs and monuments, as well as a spectacular amphitheater that once held 3,000 spectators.

Stop for a sit-down lunch, followed by a visit to Moses Spring before leaving Wadi Musa, the modern town of Petra.

Drive to Aqaba for a short city tour, then return to the Arava border and back to Eilat for an overnight stay.*

DAY 9: Monday – Departure

After breakfast, transfer on your own to the domestic airport for your departure flight to Tel Aviv (longer stays are available upon request).

*Alternatively, take an evening flight back to Tel Aviv for an overnight stay in Tel Aviv.

Sites under the jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority are subject to current conditions and may be visited depending on the situation.
